Knitting gauge:
Stockinette Stitch (5 sts) + Ladder Stitch (1st): 17.25 sts in 10 cm and 30 rows in 10 cm. You should have 15 knit-wise sts and 2.25 ladder sts

Measure your bust or around the widest part of your upper body. The pattern will give you:
• about 15 cm of positive ease for sizes XXS-S
• about 25 cm of positive ease for sizes M-3XL
• about 22 cm of positive ease for size 4XL
For example, if the bust circumference is 90 cm, then knit size M, the width of the top on the bust will be about 115 cm.
The yarn requirement is based on a body length of 51 cm and a sleeve length of 73 cm
If you want to knit a dress, I’d recommend adding another 1/2 of the amount of yarn calculated for your size. Keep in mind: the longer the garment, the more it stretches, so if you’re knitting a dress, I’d recommend stopping at mid-knee or just below the knee, then dropping the ladder stitches, washing the dress, and seeing how much its length changes. After that, you can always unravel the excess or knit a little more. Also, if you’re knitting a dress, make sure the size you choose fits your hip measurement
