A half-twisted K1 P1 headband that stretches and fits perfectly!
This headband is perfect for a head circumference of 58.5 cm and the pattern offers 3 different gauge options to knit the headband. But if you have a different head circumference or gauge, you can very easily convert the number of stitches to your head circumference and gauge using the formulas in the pattern. But for the formulas to work, you'd have to knit a good swatch, more than 10 cm wide (12-13 cm and 5-6 cm long)

Which yarn is best not to use for this project:
Don’t use yarns that consist only of silk and mohair or silk and alpaca, such as DROPS Brushed Alpaca Silk or DROPS Kid-Silk. Such yarns alone don’t hold the rib well. If you want to knit a fluffy headband, then add the sock type yarn to the mohair yarn (for example, knit in 2 stands: DROPS Brushed Alpaca Silk + DROPS Alpaca). Then your rib will be stable
